At BOOKENDS, we strive to deliver quality books and a seamless shopping experience. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re happy to help you with a return or exchange.
Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns under the following conditions:
Return requests must be made within 7 days of in-store purchase or within 10 days of delivery for online orders.
Items must be unused, unmarked, and in original condition with all packaging intact.
A valid receipt or order confirmation is required.
Returnable items must not fall under our non-returnable items list.
Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns for the following:
Items marked as Final Sale.
E-books, digital codes, or subscription-based products.
Gift cards.
Items damaged by customer use, mishandling, or external factors.
Special-import or pre-order items, unless damaged or incorrect.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or is the wrong item, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving the delivery. We may request photo proof before processing.
You may choose to:
Receive a replacement at no cost.
Or receive a full refund, including delivery charges.
Refunds
Once your returned item is inspected and approved, your refund will be processed within 7 business days via your original payment method.
Note: Refund timing may vary depending on your bank or mobile payment provider (e.g., bKash, Nagad, card issuers).
Exchanges
If eligible, we offer one-time exchanges for:
The same book title (if damaged)
A book of equal value, depending on stock availability
Please contact us before initiating an exchange.

For In-Store Purchases:
Return to the same BOOKENDS outlet
Bring the item with original packaging and receipt
For Online Purchases (Via RedX Courier):
If your delivery was made through RedX Courier, here’s how to return:
Contact BOOKENDS support to register your return request.
We will create a return ticket through RedX and confirm pickup.
The RedX agent will collect the item within 2–3 business days from your location.
Ensure the package is sealed securely with the original invoice inside.
Return Pickup Fee:
If the item is defective or incorrect, we cover the return shipping cost.
If returning for personal reasons (change of mind, etc.), a standard RedX return fee(BDT 80–150) may apply, deducted from the refund.
